#56 - QA AUTOMATION TESTER

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Design and development of Test Plans and Test Cases based on client requirements and specifications through; Build and maintain functional, smoke and regression automation scrips; Create and maintain defect logs; provide summary reports on defects in accordance with established procedures for the application; maintains system knowledge; review, participate and document issues and defects found in walkthroughs of intermediate project deliverables (statements of work, estimates, requirements, functional designs, etc.); thoroughly document all defects found using the application’s defect-reporting template; evaluate and select the appropriate testing tools & frameworks to ensure integrating with development pipelines and effective risk management; periodically audit project files and documents for compliance with IDP procedures, standards and guidelines; assist with the measurement of the cost of rework; Execute detailed test plans and scripts, report defects, and validate any fixes by collaborating with cross-functional teams; Oversee integration, functional and data testing to ensure the final implementation of standards through the successful execution of the QA process and procedures; work with QA team, development teams, project managers, technical services, and business users; as well as review technical documentation that includes business requirements, functional specs, design, and release content documents Relocation/ telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the United States for short and long term assignments.

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in computer science/computer applications/engineering (Computer Science & Engineering/Electronics/Mechanical). Will accept Computer Science/Computer Applications/Engineering (Computer Science & Engineering/Electronics/Mechanical) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of Master’s Degree. Will accept foreign education equivalent.
