#18 - QA AUTOMATION TESTER (Software Engineer in Test)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test plans, cases, and reusable frameworks based on approved requirements to ensure application of reliability, scalability, and compliance prior to release. Implement automation to validate functionality, integrations, installations, and data integrity across environments. Execute functional, integration, regression, and data testing; analyze results; document defects; and support root cause resolution with engineering teams. Participate in walkthroughs to identify risks and maintain traceability. Align test strategies with stakeholders, audit QA artifacts, and contribute to process improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, validate technical documentation for coverage, and maintain system expertise while performing duties per QA standards. Relocation/ telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the United States for short- and long-term assignments.

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in computer science/computer applications/engineering (Computer Science/Electronics/Mechanical, Electronics & Communication). Will accept Computer Science/Computer Applications/ Engineering (Computer Science/Electronics/Mechanical, Electronics & Communication) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of a master’s degree. Will accept foreign education equivalent.
